FAQ

What is IGDA Denmark and what is its purpose?

IGDA Denmark is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to help out and improve the conditions of the Danish games industry, making it flourish and stand out. We represent the interests of the game development community. We are also part of our parent organization, IGDA.

Do I need to be a member to participate in IGDA Denmark’s activities?

No. Most of our activities are open for everyone to participate. However we still encourage you to become a member so you can take part in our ongoing discussions.

How do I become an IGDA Denmark member?

You can join by emailing Guo Yu Pan at g y p @ i g d a . d k with your name and email address and we will reach you as soon as posible with more information. Otherwise you can always talk to us directly at events and we will arrange things with you.

Does being an IGDA Denmark member make me an IGDA International member as well?

No. IGDA Denmark’s membership fee is different from the international one (and much cheaper too!). The benefits that you will receive from us are related to our activities in Denmark and Malmö.

How much does it cost to be a member?

It’s only 50 DKK! You can pay those either by bank transfer (we will tell you the details via email) or just in hand at any of our events.

I want to suggest something. Who do I contact?

If you have any ideas or suggestions for, for example, talks, events, game jams… you can easily reach us and see how we can help. In our Meet the Team page you can see all of the board members’ emails. You’re more than welcome to reach any of us!

Where can I find a job listing?

Interactive Denmark hosts and takes care of a Jobs list in Denmark. You can access it here.
