DADIU is the National Academy of Digital Interactive Entertainment, an educational institution part of The National Film School of Denmark.
It’s main program is a 4-month-long course in games development that takes students from educations all across Denmark to fill in highly-specific roles such as 3D modeler, game programmer, game designer, project manager, etc.
The program includes several specialized lectures and work in partnership with other Danish games companies, leading to a final 6-week game production.
Several of the former student productions have received awards and appeared in digital stores such as Steam, while some teams have continued their original production once their education was finished.
DADIU also holds a program called DADIU Greenhouse, which helps start-ups further develop their game concepts and take their products to market by holding regular meetings with the team members and bringing in industry experts for feedback and advice.
